Web3Privacy Now is a non-profit, open-source initiative committed to promoting privacy and freedom within the Web3 ecosystem. We believe that digital privacy is a fundamental human right and build and coordinate to ensure it is upheld in the decentralized web.

Our Mission: Our goal is to educate, advocate, and develop tools that enable individuals to take control of their digital privacy. By fostering a culture of privacy in Web3 and beyond, we aim to protect individuals from unwarranted surveillance and data commodification.

Key Achievements:

• Comprehensive Research and Databases: We have developed extensive database of privacy services, use cases, and research providing valuable resources for the community via an accessible website.
• Community Engagement: Through free events like the Ethereum Cypherpunk Congress, we bring together diverse groups to discuss and promote privacy and freedom in the digital age. We organized 12 events in 2024 with over 5000 attendees and 75+ speakers.
• Advocacy and Education: Our manifesto, academy, newsletter and other educational materials (e.g. privacy-builder-pack) serve as foundational resources for understanding and implementing privacy in Web3 and beyond.

Transparency: We receive support - material and else (membership/sponsorship), from organizations around the globe (event-specific, or 1 year around) so we can continue making free events and build open-source databases and projects to strengthen privacy movement.

2025 Explorations: We aim to kick-off a privacy and freedom-focused podcast, get involved in onchain DAO governance (via delegation), publish w3pn-financial transparency report, web3 privacy report for the institutions as well as organizing our 1ˢᵗ hackathon/buildathon, build a bounty/grant platform, and more!
