<h1>Project Description</h1>The Stellar Builders &amp; Community Meetup – Abidjan is a 100person community-led initiative designed to strengthen the Stellar ecosystem in Côte d’Ivoire by bringing together developers, founders, creators, entrepreneurs, and Web3 enthusiasts for a practical and engaging ecosystem-focused event. The goal is to increase awareness of Stellar, introduce new builders to the ecosystem, encourage local participation, and create stronger connections between emerging talent in Côte d’Ivoire and opportunities within the wider Stellar community.I am particularly excited about the Stellar Community Growth QF Round because it gives the community a direct role in supporting impactful builders and grassroots initiatives. Having previously served as an ambassador for the formal Stellar West Africa region, and having organized and supported Stellar-focused developer and community meetups, I have firsthand experience engaging local communities and creating spaces where people can learn, collaborate, and discover opportunities within the ecosystem. Although the formal West Africa ambassador structure has since been dissolved, I remain committed to supporting Stellar adoption and community growth in the region.The proposed meetup in Abidjan will combine a short introduction to Stellar with practical ecosystem sessions, developer-focused discussions, networking, and a project showcase where local builders can present their ideas or products. The event will be structured to make Stellar accessible to newcomers while also providing useful technical and ecosystem information for developers and experienced Web3 participants.Beyond the event itself, the project aims to create lasting community impact by identifying promising local builders, connecting participants with Stellar grants and ecosystem opportunities, encouraging collaboration, and establishing a stronger network of Stellar contributors in Côte d’Ivoire. The project will also provide an opportunity to amplify grassroots initiatives and give emerging builders greater visibility.I have previously organized and supported several community events, meetups, workshops, developer sessions, and ecosystem activations across Web3, including Stellar West Africa meetups, Binance community events, developer workshops, and other blockchain community gatherings. These experiences have given me practical skills in event planning, speaker coordination, community engagement, partnerships, promotion, and on-ground execution.With support from the QF Round, I would use the meetup as a focused community-growth activation that not only introduces more people to Stellar but also helps turn awareness into participation, collaboration, and new builders contributing to the ecosystem from Côte d’Ivoire.
