The Web3 ecosystem is currently facing an existential crisis: the drainer epidemic. As retail participation surges in high-velocity, high-liquidity markets across multiple chains, users are constantly exposed to sophisticated wallet drainers, phishing campaigns, and malicious smart contracts. The fundamental flaw in the current infrastructure is that traditional non-custodial wallets act merely as passive key vaults. They hold assets securely at rest, but they offer absolutely zero active defense during the critical transaction execution phase. By the time a user clicks "sign" on a malicious payload, it is already too late, leading to catastrophic loss of funds and devastating the trust of retail users.Fortress Wallet is built to completely overhaul this vulnerable standard. We are deploying an open-source, next-generation non-custodial security primitive that brings enterprise-grade, zero-trust architecture directly to the everyday Web3 user. Instead of just holding keys, Fortress functions as an active client-side firewall.At the core of this infrastructure is our WebAssembly (WASM) security layer. This lightweight, highly optimized firewall pre-simulates and deeply verifies every transaction in real-time. It actively intercepts and blocks malicious contract interactions before the signature phase is ever reached. Because the simulation logic is compiled to WASM and runs entirely on the client side, it provides this bare-metal security without adding any noticeable latency to the high-speed trading experience.Furthermore, we are pioneering a radically enhanced cryptographic standard by introducing a 34/35-word Sanskrit recovery phrase system. Standard BIP-39 libraries are rigid and increasingly vulnerable to massive, coordinated dictionary attacks. By architecting custom mapping and derivation paths for this high-entropy system, we are pushing the cryptographic boundaries of non-custodial wallet recovery, ensuring that off-chain brute-force vectors are mathematically neutralized.Fortress Wallet also integrates a strict transaction-level 2FA protocol, guaranteeing that unauthorized fund routing is blocked even if the primary device environment is compromised.By funding this project, you are directly supporting a solo builder dedicated to open-sourcing these critical cryptographic primitives. Your grant allocation will be used to scale this infrastructure, maintain the multi-chain firewall registries, and ensure that the broader Web3 ecosystem has access to the active defenses necessary to stop the drainer epidemic once and for all.
