<h3>Blockfuse Stellar Builders Bootcamp</h3> WHO ARE WE?Blockfuse Labs is a developer education and technology community based in Jos, Nigeria. We train and support software and blockchain developers through practical learning, technical workshops, buildathons, mentorship and community-driven programs.We believe Africa already has the talent required to build the next generation of blockchain products. What many developers lack is access to the right ecosystems, technical guidance and opportunities to build.That is why we are creating the Blockfuse Stellar Builders Bootcamp. WHAT ARE WE BUILDING?The Blockfuse Stellar Builders Bootcamp is a hands-on developer onboarding program that introduces new builders to the Stellar ecosystem and helps them build their first real applications on Stellar.This will not be another event where developers sit through hours of presentations and go home. Participants will learn Stellar by actually using it. They will explore Stellar accounts, transactions, assets, payments, developer tooling and smart contracts. Developers will set up their development environments, interact with the Stellar testnet and get practical experience building with Soroban. The program will conclude with a mini buildathon in which participants will form teams, identify real problems, and build simple prototypes using Stellar. Our goal is to take developers from: “I’ve heard about Stellar”to“I’ve built something on Stellar.” WHY DOES THIS MATTER?Nigeria has one of Africa’s largest and fastest-growing developer communities, but access to emerging blockchain ecosystems remains concentrated in a few major cities and communities.Talented developers outside those circles can easily miss opportunities simply because nobody created the right entry point for them. Jos has a growing technical community, and we want to create that entry point here.We want developers to understand that building in the Stellar ecosystem is something they can start doing today, from where they are. We will also encourage teams to explore practical problems relevant to Africa, including cross-border payments, remittances, merchant payments, stablecoin applications, financial inclusion and other real-world financial use cases. WHERE WILL IT HAPPEN?The bootcamp will take place at Blockfuse Labs in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.Our existing 1000+ developer community and physical learning environment allow us to focus resources on what matters most: getting developers learning, experimenting and building. HOW WILL IT WORK?Participants will go through a practical journey: Learn → Set Up → Build → Demo → Continue The program will include:<ul><li>Stellar ecosystem fundamentals</li><li>Accounts, transactions, assets and payments</li><li>Stellar developer environment setup</li><li>Hands-on testnet interaction</li><li>Introduction to Soroban smart contracts</li><li>Practical coding sessions</li><li>Team formation</li><li>Mini buildathon</li><li>Project demonstrations</li><li>Post-event technical mentorship and community support</li><li> </li></ul>We are targeting at least 100 participants, with a strong focus on developers who have never built on Stellar before.Our targets include:<ul><li>70+ developers newly onboarded to Stellar</li><li>50+ developers completing hands-on Stellar development exercises</li><li>10+ teams or working prototypes created</li><li>continued mentorship for developers who want to keep building after the event</li></ul> WHEN?The Blockfuse Stellar Builders Bootcamp is planned for November 2026 as part of the Stellar Community Growth initiative.Participant onboarding, technical preparation and community outreach will happen before the event, while follow-up mentorship and project support will continue afterwards. WHAT DOES YOUR DONATION SUPPORT?Your donation helps us create a practical entry point to Stellar for developers who might otherwise never have one. Funding will support technical training materials, developer resources, internet and power infrastructure, event logistics, participant support, documentation and the hands-on buildathon experience. But the real outcome we are funding is not an event.It is a developer making their first Stellar transaction.A student deploying their first smart contract.A team building their first Stellar prototype.A builder discovering an ecosystem they may continue contributing to for years.We already have the community.We already have developers who want to build.Now we want to give them a clear path into Stellar.
