Since 2005, the charity organization "Club Future" has been working in Mariupol and the Donetsk region, providing support in the fight against socially dangerous diseases. In April 2022, during the war, we relocated to Kryvyi Rih and resumed our operations, offering free services to internally displaced persons (IDPs) and vulnerable groups. With your support, we have opened two shelters in Kryvyi Rih, serving over 1,000 IDPs. Our shelters are overcrowded, and we have limited capacity to conduct mental health improvement activities. We have decided to expand our operations and open a larger shelter. This new facility will provide more living space (up to 14 people) and accommodate group activities (up to 10 people). Renovation work has already begun, and we are seeking additional resources to complete the project: electrical installation, flooring, door installation, room painting, and the setup of the kitchen and bathrooms. Your contributions will help complete the renovations, ensuring comfortable living conditions and improved mental health for the IDPs.Our project provides a safe place to live and psychological support for IDPs, facilitating their adaptation in Kryvyi Rih. Long-term outcomes include improved mental health, social integration, and support during the post-war recovery period. It is planned that about 800 people will use the shelter services annually. The goal of the project is to create a space/shelter for IDP families in Kryvyi Rih, aiming at their adaptation and integration into the new community by providing a comprehensive range of services in one place and supporting the mental health of adults and children during the war and post-war recovery. To furnish the facility, we need approximately 204,510 UAH. Through this project, we plan to provide essential assistance and support to about 800 people per year.
