Founded in 2015, we began by producing virtual theater within the online game <a href="https://youtube.com/astagereborn" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Final Fantasy XIV</a>, providing new avenues for individuals to engage in stage acting. Since then, the organization has expanded to offer a variety of programs, including voice projects, media productions, table readings, workshops, and interdisciplinary career development opportunities. Operating as a hybrid-remote charity, A Stage Reborn™ is volunteer-powered and offers global-reaching programs designed to provide alternative ways for individuals to benefit from the arts. These initiatives aim to overcome barriers that often exclude individuals from traditional creative experiences, such as those with disabilities or socioeconomic challenges. Our organization also aims to innovate and transform the arts in creative ways beyond the stage, including advocacy, economic development, education and research areas. In Nebraska, A Stage Reborn™ is serving as the district administrator for the Minatare Certified Creative District efforts to revitalize the community through arts and culture. Our work includes organizing public art installations, performances, festivals, youth programs, and historic preservation projects, all aimed at stimulating economic growth and enhancing community engagement. Each certified district is eligible for a $10,000 Certification Grant and can apply for a Development Grant of up to $250,000, depending on project scope and available funds ​ In 2025, the NAC awarded nearly $1 million in Development Grants to ten Creative Districts, with most receiving the maximum $100,000 award . These grants fund initiatives such as public art installations, performance spaces, marketing campaigns, and cultural tourism projects, all aimed at revitalizing communities and stimulating economic growth.​ Our first decade as a nonprofit was heavy on virtual and online programming, and now we seek to bring things full circle for our tenth year anniversary. By supporting A Stage Reborn, the nonprofit administrator of Minatare’s Certified Creative District, you help bring creativity, opportunity, and hope to a small rural town with big ideas that has survived over a century of socioeconomic history.<h2>Where we're at now.</h2>Our proposal was accepted by the City of Minatare on April 8 of 2025. Prior to this, we had received a $10,000 grant from The Sherwood Foundation this year to start us off. We have a lot of labor ahead of us beyond what that will provide. Your charitable support directly and immediately goes towards Creative District development including community programming, educational collaboration, and repair of run-down buildings for the public to enjoy once again within the Creative District of the city. We plan to update information and cause impact throughout the year and ongoing. We have simple and lofty goals. Outside of community programming (Tabor Days, A Christmas Carol, High Plains Mini-Con, family and community events and more) we are looking to revitalize their downtown, which means renovating. While some highly competitive grant funding is available long-term, many foundations have commented to us directly about the impact of pre-matching even when no match is required. Additionally, the Ethereum and Base community are so cause driven, it just makes sense to let them know what we're doing and how they can be a part of making a difference both on-chain and off. Our mission never ends and there is always something more we will find, innovate, and do to make arts more accessible generation after generation. Bringing new technology and revitalizing community spaces is not a cheap ticket item. For example, the Minatare community center last estimated north of $65,000 just to re-open to the public for community use while we were collaborating on a T-Mobile Hometown grant application we were not selected on. The point is you have a more power than you realize, even against fiat giants, even with arts grants out there. If you've wanted to virtually or physically get your hands on grassroots next-gen change this is the opportunity.
